Friendship

It's so much more dead set than any relationship. Sure, friends fight. But if it's a true friend you know they're not going anywhere. I bicker with my friends all the time.... But they're still here. I still love them, and I know they still love me.
I've made stupid decisions in the past to choose relationships over my friends. I thought a realtionship was going to last forever, so I ditched my friends. I didn't need them, anyway; I had my boy. But I was wrong. Thankfully, they forgave me. I know I won't be making that decision again.
My friends have been there for me through everything in my life. They've always been there when I needed to talk and let it all out, they've been there to give me advice, and they've been there when I just needed friend time to get my mind off of other issues.
We all have issues here and there. But friends are always there. They are the ones that are there when you go through a break up, an embarassing moment, a hard time, or when you're just questioning things. True friends are always there.

I've had some friends that I thought were true friends. Until, it was proven to me that they clearly weren't. You never know until your friendship gets tested. If they're not willing to stick around for everything, you know they're not a true friend. If they can just disappear as quickly as they appeared, they don't deserve to be called a true friend. If they can't forgive, they're not a true friend. You, too, have to forgive though. Forgive and forget. Easier said than done. But true friends try.
